I survived the first week in Canada, 730 pictures taken, 404 miles ridden, 23,000 feet elevation gained, got no flat tires, got rained on one day and one night, got lots of sleep, and ate lots of great food. The Tour BC route mostly followed Canada 97 from Hope north to McLeese Lake near Quesnel. On our last day we turned east on Canada 26 and rode to Barkersville. The road had some steep hills along the way but nothing near as bad as SIR's Anderson Hill. Now it's rest time and carbo loading for the Rocky Mountain 1200.
