This is a 100k point to point training ride with about 3,300 ft elevation gain to Hood River via Odell. The start location is in Bingen Washington at the junction of SR14 and SR141. Public parking is available 3 blocks west of the junction. A receipt can be obtained from any of the business in Bingen to document the start time. The route ends in downtown Hood River. There is an ATM at the jct of 2nd and Oak Streets.
You can get a ride across the Hood River Bridge to Bingen by calling MATS (Mt. Adams Transportation Services) hours of operation 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
MATS' bus route connects communities on both
sides of the Hood River Bridge and provides a way
to cross the bridge for pedestrians and cyclists.
Buses run 3x/day Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Fare: $1.00 each way (passengers aged 12+)
Bike Friendly: Bring your bike on board to cross the Hood River Interstate Bridge. With support from the Port of Hood River and Gorge TransLink, MATS vehicles now have bike racks!
